A
training on “On – the Job Training on Diagnostic Analysis of Zerdarak
Irrigation Scheme” was successfully conducted by JICA funded Capacity
Development for Irrigation Directorate Project (CDIS Output 2) from April 18th
– 20th, 2016. About Twenty three (23) participants from different
DAILs of MAIL participated in the OJT.
The
main objective of this training was to provide an opportunity for the targeted
staff of MAIL/ID to conduct diagnostic analysis by taking in to considerations
existing field conditions of an irrigation scheme and to diagnose the real
situation and need assessment of the scheme.
The
targeted staff was social mobiliser, agronomist, irrigation engineer, technical
surveyor, and socio-economist staff of MAIL/ID.
After
this training, the participants acquired the basic understanding of diagnostic
analysis and how to prepare diagnostic analysis report and how to fill
different field data collection forms. The training has also enhanced knowledge
of participants on the subject.
